Manage gallery content
From the Awesign home page, navigate to Content Management > Manage Gallery Slides. Only content managers will see
this section.
By default, the Gallery Content Management page shows all the current and upcoming pending and approved slides in all galleries that you manage. You can change these filters and specify the sorting order at the top.
A list of slides that match your filters will be shown.
Each slide shows the title, gallery name, description, requester, request date, start date and time, end date and time, and status. You can click the down arrow on the left to show more information. Clicking any text also toggles expanding the row. You can click the slide preview image to enlarge it.
Updating status
On the right side of the row, you can see the current status: approved, rejected, pending, or cancelled. When a slide is pending, you can approve or reject it with the buttons directly below the "Pending Approval" text. After approving or rejecting a slide, its status can be edited by clicking the pencil icon to the right of the status.
You, as a content manager, can see when a slide's status was updated and who updated it. The requester can see the update time, but not the person who updated it on the View Your Slides page.
Editing a slide
When you hover over a row, a pencil icon will appear next to the slide's title. Click this to open an editing dialog. You can change the title, description, start/end times, and status. As a content manager, you can set arbitrary start and end dates, without the restrictions that apply when initially uploading slides. Click "Save" when you're ready to apply your changes. You can also cancel your own slides here for convenience.
Awesign administrators have additional options.
Bulk editing slides
On the left of each row, there's a checkbox. You can check multiple slides and then click "Edit ___ slides" to edit many slides at once. When editing multiple slides, you need to check each "Update" field that you want to update. Unchecked fields will remain unchanged, keeping the slide's original details. Click "Save" when you're ready to apply your changes to all selected slides.
For convenience, there's a "Select all visible" button at the top, which will checkmark all the slides on the page. If all visible slides are already selected, the button changes to "Deselect all". If you expect more slides to be selected, continue scrolling down until the additional slides are shown. Slides are loaded gradually as you scroll down to avoid fetching a large amount of data all at once.
If you're the requester of all the selected slides, you can bulk-cancel them here for convenience.
See who the content managers are
You can click the "Gallery info" icon next to the gallery name in the list of slides to view the gallery information, including who the content managers are. You'll also see the gallery's description, public/private status, and have the option to view all slides in the gallery.
